Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the My Project Pan app collects, uses and protects user data. It applies to the versions published on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store; where the two versions behave differently, the difference is explicitly noted.

1. Data stored in the app

My Project Pan does not require any account and does not collect personally identifiable information. Everything you enter is stored locally on your device:

products you add manually (name, brand, category, dates);
routines, reminders and check-ins;
skin analysis results;
language, theme and settings preferences.

This data is never transmitted to the developer.

2. Backup and sync

Android Manual export and restore

From the settings you can export all your data to a backup file saved wherever you choose (device, Drive, etc.) and import it back later, for example on a new phone. The file is created at your request and remains under your exclusive control.

iOS iCloud sync

The iOS version can sync your data through iCloud (CloudKit) into the private database of your own iCloud account, managed and encrypted by Apple. The developer has no access to this data. You can turn sync off from your device's iCloud settings.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

For users without a subscription, the app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects and shares the following data with Google:

device identifiers (advertising ID / IDFA);
approximate location (derived from the IP address);
ad interactions within the app;
diagnostic data about ad performance.

This data is used exclusively for advertising and measurement purposes. Learn more: How Google uses advertising data.

iOS Before showing personalized ads, the app asks for consent through Google's UMP platform (GDPR) and Apple's App Tracking Transparency authorization. You can decline both: you will see non-personalized ads.

Android You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.

Paid subscriptions remove advertising entirely.

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

Transactions are processed exclusively through the official Apple App Store and Google Play Billing systems. My Project Pan never receives or stores card numbers or payment information.

5. Remote configuration iOS

The iOS version downloads the configuration of active promotions (e.g. limited-time offers) from a cloud service. This communication contains no personal data: it is a plain configuration download.

6. Notifications

The app only sends local notifications (product expiry, routines, reminders), generated on the device. You can turn them off at any time from the app or system settings.

7. Data retention and deletion

App data lives on your device: you can delete it by uninstalling the app or from the in-app settings.
iOS Data synced to iCloud can be deleted from your iCloud account settings.
Advertising data is handled by Google under its own policies; you can reset your advertising ID from your device settings at any time.

8. Security

All network communications use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Local data is protected by the operating system's sandboxing and encryption mechanisms.
